Most of Haridwar’s visitors are temporary .Hari dwar Hotel Vanvilas is best avoided. Again the same problem of cleanliness comes up. It offers a good view of the lake though. Basic things that you require in a room are not there a sense of hygiene, being well kept. Worse still, in our room the bathroom door can not be locked because the latch is missing. Instead of the latch, there is a gaping hole so you do not have even privacy.

HOTELS IN INDIA

The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi is a 4* hotel, prices start at £60, whereas a standard double room can be booked for as little as £12 a night at the centrally located Hotel Syal in the heart of New Delhi. The same is true within Calcutta, in fact very reasonably priced hotels can be found throughout India for the savvy traveler

Get the feel of Indian Royalty at one of the Heritage Hotels. The large Palaces and Mansions of the Maharajas have been transformed into five star hotels. Laxmi Niswas Palace in Bikaner, a former Maharaja palace with 32 rooms has rooms available from £70 a night for the standard double room.

There are many luxury hotels throughout India, and if you want to live in luxury but are not too bothered about the weather, great bargains can be found during the monsoon season.

INDIA HOTEL

Golden Temple : – The Shining Splendor

The temple is located on a small island in the centre of a pool called the amrit-sar (‘pool of nectar’) and is connected to land by a marble causeway. The golden colour comes from the overlay of gold foil, hence the name. Golden Temple has a unique feature, here the devotees have to step down to offer their homage unlike other temples where the devotees have to climb up to offer their salutation.

This wonderful temple of God has been built at the lowest level because it represents the humility of Guru Nanak. The architecture of the temple is considered as the epitome of dexterity and creativity and it represents a unique harmony between the Muslims and the Hindus. Patrolling guards are present all the time to ensure that visitors respect the basic rules when visiting the temple. As long as the rules are respected, visitors of all religions are given a warm welcome.
Symbolically, it has entrances on all four sides to show that it is open to worshippers of all castes and creeds

GOLDEN TEMPLE IN AMRITSAR

(Amritsar derieves its name from Amrit Sarovar, fabulous Golden Temple.)

Himalayas Tourism

Here is the land, where India’s holiest rivers begin and pilgrims end, the temples of the Lord soar in to the cosmic blue, and surrounded by the dizzy beauty of externally frozen lakes, majestic waterfalls, meandering rivers, undulating meadows, incredible lush green mountain valleys and a large variety of exotic flora and fauna. The hill stations at the Himalayas are gateways to bewitching beauty and exotic experience.

BEAUTIYFUL HIMALAYA

WEATHER IN INDIA

India weather profile is difficult to sum up in one paragraph and could take an entire page. In general October and March are the most pleasant months over the majority of the country.

The monsoon season in the south makes January to September the more pleasant months in the south of India.

india weather

Whereas if you are visiting India for the skiing – the ski season here runs between January and March.
The place attracts numerous tourists for diverse activites.
